The livelihood restoration programmes of the organization in disaster-affected areas also deserve our profound appreciation,&#8221; the Prime Minister said in a meeting with FAO Director General Jose Graziano da Silva here at PM House.<br \/>\nAccording to a the PM Office statement, the Premier Nawaz Sharif said the government would extend all possible cooperation to supporting FAO&#8217;s activities related to food security.<br \/>\nJose Graziano da Silva said that FAO strives for achieving food security for all to make sure people had regular access to enough high quality food.<br \/>\nHe said the organization&#8217;s efforts were aimed at empowering people to lead active and healthy lives through sustainable management and utilization of land, water, air, climate and genetic resources.<br \/>\nHe also apprised the Prime Minister on various ongoing projects of FAO in various parts of Pakistan.<br \/>\nThe visiting delegation included Attache de Cabinet FAO, Ms Kae Mihara and FAO Country Representative to Pakistan Patrick T Evans.
