{"id":184289,"date":"2021-01-21T23:34:53","date_gmt":"2021-01-21T18:34:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vid.app.com.pk\/vid\/?p=184289"},"modified":"2021-03-22T15:38:03","modified_gmt":"2021-03-22T10:38:03","slug":"macro-economic-indicators-showing-accelerated-growth-asad-umar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vid.app.com.pk\/vid\/2021\/01\/macro-economic-indicators-showing-accelerated-growth-asad-umar\/","title":{"rendered":"Macro-economic indicators showing accelerated growth: Asad Umar"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"width: 696px;\" class=\"wp-video\"><video class=\"wp-video-shortcode\" id=\"video-184289-1\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" preload=\"metadata\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"video\/mp4\" src=\"https:\/\/vid.app.com.pk\/vid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/Asad-Umar-Press-conferece-along-with-Omar-ayub.mp4?_=1\" \/><a href=\"https:\/\/vid.app.com.pk\/vid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/Asad-Umar-Press-conferece-along-with-Omar-ayub.mp4\">https:\/\/vid.app.com.pk\/vid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/Asad-Umar-Press-conferece-along-with-Omar-ayub.mp4<\/a><\/video><\/div>\n<p>ISLAMABAD, Jan 21 (APP):Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives, Asad Umar on Thursday said that for the first time in a decade or more, the accelerated growth was being witnessed in major macro-economic indicators including current account deficit, large scale manufacturing industry and exports.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cExports of the country in December 2020 witnessed a record growth of 18.5 percent which is highest in a single month in 12 years,\u201d the minister said while addressing a press briefing along with Minister for Power Omer Ayub here.<\/p>\n<p>He said 15 Large Scale Manufacturing Industries also showed a sharp increase in November 2020 as it grew by 15 percent which was a record growth in several years.<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, he said spending under federal Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) 2020-21 was also showing a healthy increase as the federal government spent a record amount of Rs 208 billion on development projects during first six months of the current fiscal year.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This amount is 32 percent of total development outlay for the year 2020-21 which is the highest in eight years,&#8221;
