{"id":185612,"date":"2021-01-31T20:20:10","date_gmt":"2021-01-31T15:20:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vid.app.com.pk\/vid\/?p=185612"},"modified":"2021-01-31T20:20:10","modified_gmt":"2021-01-31T15:20:10","slug":"special-plane-leaves-with-first-batch-of-covid-19-vaccine-for-islamabad","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vid.app.com.pk\/vid\/2021\/01\/special-plane-leaves-with-first-batch-of-covid-19-vaccine-for-islamabad\/","title":{"rendered":"Special plane leaves with first batch of Covid-19 vaccine for Islamabad"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"width: 696px;\" class=\"wp-video\"><video class=\"wp-video-shortcode\" id=\"video-185612-1\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" preload=\"metadata\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"video\/mp4\" src=\"https:\/\/vid.app.com.pk\/vid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/Special-PAF-plane-leaves-from-China-with-first-batch-of-Covid-19-vaccine-for-Islamabad.mp4?_=1\" \/><a href=\"https:\/\/vid.app.com.pk\/vid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/Special-PAF-plane-leaves-from-China-with-first-batch-of-Covid-19-vaccine-for-Islamabad.mp4\">https:\/\/vid.app.com.pk\/vid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/Special-PAF-plane-leaves-from-China-with-first-batch-of-Covid-19-vaccine-for-Islamabad.mp4<\/a><\/video><\/div>\n<p>BEIJING, Jan 31 (APP): A special Pakistan Air Force (PAF) plane with the first batch of Covid-19 vaccine doses left here for Islamabad on Sunday evening.<\/p>\n<p>China&#8217;s State Councilor and Foreign Minister, Wang Yi during a phone call with Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi last week had promised to provide 500,000 doses of Covid-19 vaccine to Pakistan by January 31.<\/p>\n<p>Beijing had asked Islamabad to send an airplane to get the vaccines.<\/p>\n<p>Later, Chinese Foreign Ministry&#8217;s Spokesperson Hua Chunying had also confirmed that in order to support the brothers and sisters in Pakistan, the Chinese government would provide a batch of vaccines as aid and would actively coordinate with the relevant Chinese enterprise to speed up export of vaccines to Pakistan.<\/p>\n<p>The National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), which oversees Pakistan&#8217;s coronavirus response, had sent the special aircraft to bring the vaccine that Beijing had promised to provide.<\/p>\n<p>The NCOC has taken necessary steps to store the vaccine in Islamabad and onward supply to various federating units particularly to Sindh and Balochistan through the air.<\/p>\n<p>It has also set up a vaccine nerve center with the provincial and district level vaccine administration and coordination and adult vaccination centers.\u009d<\/p>\n<p>Since the outbreak of COVID-19, China and Pakistan have been working together to overcome difficulties.<\/p>\n<p>Pakistan has approved two foreign anti-COVID vaccines as of now, including the Chinese Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine, for emergency use in the country.<\/p>\n<p>Pakistan plans to provide vaccines to frontline health workers and elderly people in the first phase.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>BEIJING, Jan 31 (APP): A special Pakistan Air Force (PAF) plane with the first batch of Covid-19 vaccine doses left here for Islamabad on Sunday evening.
