He announced that a<br \/>\ntechnology city would be set up on KPT property for which open tenders<br \/>\nwould be issued.<br \/>\nAli Zaidi said that work on ferry terminal was underway with fast<br \/>\npace. The Ministry of Maritime Affairs, he said, had been totally<br \/>\nconverted to e-filling system and the outdated procedure of movement of<br \/>\nfiles had been discarded.<br \/>\nHe said according to 18th Constitutional Amendment, the unclaimed<br \/>\ncoastal areas within 12 nautical miles were the property of provincial<br \/>\ngovernment while outside 12 nautical miles they were the jurisdiction of<br \/>\nfederal government.<br \/>\nAli Haider Zaidi said that Environment department was being<br \/>\nadministered by provincial government of Sindh, they should be asked why<br \/>\nabout 550 million gallon of sewage water was being dumped into the sea<br \/>\non daily basis.<br \/>\n&#8220;In 2019, I was supervising the cleaning of drains, although it was<br \/>\nnot the responsibility of federal government.
