{"id":20882,"date":"2017-02-01T08:30:55","date_gmt":"2017-02-01T08:30:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/vid.app.com.pk\/vid\/?p=20882"},"modified":"2017-02-01T08:30:55","modified_gmt":"2017-02-01T08:30:55","slug":"royal-friesland-campuna-ceo-calls-on-prime-minister","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vid.app.com.pk\/vid\/2017\/02\/royal-friesland-campuna-ceo-calls-on-prime-minister\/","title":{"rendered":"Royal Friesland Campuna CEO calls on Prime Minister"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 696px;\" class=\"wp-video\"><video class=\"wp-video-shortcode\" id=\"video-20882-1\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" preload=\"metadata\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"video\/x-flv\" src=\"http:\/\/vid.app.com.pk\/vid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Royal-Friesland-Campuna-CEO-calls-on-Prime-Minister.flv?_=1\" \/><a href=\"http:\/\/vid.app.com.pk\/vid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Royal-Friesland-Campuna-CEO-calls-on-Prime-Minister.flv\">http:\/\/vid.app.com.pk\/vid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Royal-Friesland-Campuna-CEO-calls-on-Prime-Minister.flv<\/a><\/video><\/div>\n<p>ISLAMABAD, Feb 1 (APP): Roelof A Joosten, CEO, Royal Friesland Campina (Netherlands) called on Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif at the PM House here on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Welcoming the visiting delegation, Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif said that Pakistan\u2019s strategic location makes it a market full of opportunities having the potential to become Asia\u2019s premier trade, energy and transport corridor.<br \/>\nThe Prime Minister said that 60 percent of the total population of the country is under the age of 30 with talented labour force from unskilled to highly skilled professionals.<\/p>\n<p>The Prime Minister informed the delegation that the government has recently extended subsidy on fertilizers to facilitate farmers and has promulgated laws for Special Economic Zones to meet global challenges of competitiveness and also to attract Foreign Direct Investment. \u201cOur government is extensively working on various infrastructures, energy and communication projects to facilitate trade and investment in diverse sectors\u201d, stated the PM.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are a lucky for having four seasons, abundant land with rich natural resources, extensive irrigation network, favourable climate, year round crop production, trained work force and a vibrant economic outlook\u2019, stressed the Prime Minister said that his government has focused on economic reforms to increase investors\u2019 confidence as the country\u2019s various indicators of growing and stable economy are acknowledged by International Organizations, as well.<\/p>\n<p>Roelof A Joosten said, \u201cWe invested in Pakistan because Central Asia is very important for our business strategy and Pakistan offered us the opportunity to invest in the region. The reason to invest in Pakistan is that we see a big change from loose milk to packed milk. We also see an increase in the dispensable income of middle class which is rapidly increasing while urbanization is also on the rise in the country. We feel that high quality dairy products are required to meet the growing demand in the country\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is a growing need for high quality dairy products in Pakistan. That is why we are bringing in our technology, capabilities and our experiences to develop these products for Pakistani market by working together with the farmer community of Pakistan\u201d, the CEO said.<\/p>\n<p>The CEO further said that they have a plan to make Pakistan dairy products exporting country in the coming a few years.
