Ships of the participating navies, observers,<br \/>\nforeign diplomats and a large number of Pakistan Navy officers and men<br \/>\nattended the event.<br \/>\nThe admiral added that multinational exercise AMAN 17 is an<br \/>\neffort which will surely improve response, tactics and procedures<br \/>\namong various maritime forces operating in the region. The exercise is<br \/>\nexpected to further refine the concept of &#8216;collective and<br \/>\ncollaborative&#8217; securitty among the participants. Pakistan in generla<br \/>\nand Pakistan Navy in particular takes immense pride in leading these<br \/>\nefforts.<br \/>\nCommander Pakistan Fleet extended warm welcome to the<br \/>\nparticipating\u00a0 Navies and hoped that AMAN 17 would help find common<br \/>\nanswers against maritime threats and a chance to our guests to<br \/>\ninteract with friendly Pakistani culture.<br \/>\nHe also valued participating nations for supporting Pakistan&#8217;s<br \/>\nresolve for ensuring peace in the region.<br \/>\nAMAN is a multinational naval exercise conducted biennially by<br \/>\nPakistan Navy since 2007. The exercise is based on Pakistan Navy lead<br \/>\ninitiative to bring in various navies under one umbrella. The<br \/>\ncurrently exercise is 5th in the series. The exercise has a growing<br \/>\nnumber of participants.
