{"id":221183,"date":"2021-09-12T23:16:41","date_gmt":"2021-09-12T18:16:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vid.app.com.pk\/vid\/?p=221183"},"modified":"2021-09-12T23:16:41","modified_gmt":"2021-09-12T18:16:41","slug":"polling-concludes-peacefully-in-cbh-election-vote-counting-starts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vid.app.com.pk\/vid\/2021\/09\/polling-concludes-peacefully-in-cbh-election-vote-counting-starts\/","title":{"rendered":"Polling concludes peacefully in CBH election, vote counting starts"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"width: 696px;\" class=\"wp-video\"><video class=\"wp-video-shortcode\" id=\"video-221183-1\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" preload=\"metadata\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"video\/mp4\" src=\"https:\/\/vid.app.com.pk\/vid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/Polling-in-Cantonment-Boards-elections-concluded-in-Hyderabad.mp4?_=1\" \/><a href=\"https:\/\/vid.app.com.pk\/vid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/Polling-in-Cantonment-Boards-elections-concluded-in-Hyderabad.mp4\">https:\/\/vid.app.com.pk\/vid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/Polling-in-Cantonment-Boards-elections-concluded-in-Hyderabad.mp4<\/a><\/video><\/div>\n<p>HYDERABAD, Sep 12 (APP):Polling in Cantonment Board&#8217;s elections here concluded in Hyderabad at about 5:00 pm on Sunday and vote counting process was started at all 35 polling stations.<\/p>\n<p>According to ECP officials, a large number of eligible voters<\/p>\n<p>exercised their right of franchise in all 10 wards of Cantonment Board<\/p>\n<p>Hyderabad (CBH).<\/p>\n<p>Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) had already completed<\/p>\n<p>arrangements for holding of CBH polls in a fair, free and transparent<\/p>\n<p>manner.<\/p>\n<p>As many as 54 candidates of different political parties including<\/p>\n<p>Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Pakistan People&#8217;s Party (PPP),<\/p>\n<p>Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P), Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP),<\/p>\n<p>Jamat-i-Islami, and the independents contested CBH polls for which 35<\/p>\n<p>polling stations and 130 polling booths (66 for male and 64 for female<\/p>\n<p>voters) had been established.<\/p>\n<p>Three major political parties, PTI, PPP and MQM-P have fielded<\/p>\n<p>candidates in all the 10 wards of the CBH.<\/p>\n<p>The voting process began at 8:00 am and concluded at about 5:00 pm.<\/p>\n<p>The ECP and local administration have adopted strict security measures during Cantonment<\/p>\n<p>Board elections.<\/p>\n<p>The Police and law enforcement agencies were deployed outside polling<\/p>\n<p>stations to maintain order during the polling process.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>HYDERABAD, Sep 12 (APP):Polling in Cantonment Board&#8217;s elections here concluded in Hyderabad at about 5:00 pm on Sunday and vote counting process was started at all 35 polling stations.
