{"id":27704,"date":"2017-05-06T13:28:01","date_gmt":"2017-05-06T13:28:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/vid.app.com.pk\/vid\/?p=27704"},"modified":"2017-05-06T13:32:52","modified_gmt":"2017-05-06T13:32:52","slug":"pm-directs-early-completion-of-new-islamabad-airport-with-no-compromise-on-work-quality","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vid.app.com.pk\/vid\/2017\/05\/pm-directs-early-completion-of-new-islamabad-airport-with-no-compromise-on-work-quality\/","title":{"rendered":"PM directs early completion of New Islamabad Airport with no compromise on work quality"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"width: 696px;\" class=\"wp-video\"><video class=\"wp-video-shortcode\" id=\"video-27704-1\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" preload=\"metadata\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"video\/x-flv\" src=\"http:\/\/vid.app.com.pk\/vid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/PM-Examins-Progress-on-New-Air-Port-06-05-2017.flv?_=1\" \/><a href=\"http:\/\/vid.app.com.pk\/vid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/PM-Examins-Progress-on-New-Air-Port-06-05-2017.flv\">http:\/\/vid.app.com.pk\/vid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/PM-Examins-Progress-on-New-Air-Port-06-05-2017.flv<\/a><\/video><\/div>\n<p>ISLAMABAD, May 6 (APP): Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz<br \/>\nSharif Saturday directed the Civil Aviation Authority to ensure<br \/>\nearly completion of the New Islamabad International Airport<br \/>\nwithout compromising quality of the work.<br \/>\nThe prime minister visited the state-of-the-art under-<br \/>\nconstruction building of the airport wherein he was briefed<br \/>\nabout the work progress on the project and features of the<br \/>\nfacility.<br \/>\nDirector General Civil Aviation Authority Air Marshal<br \/>\n(Retd) Asim Suleiman received the prime minister along with<br \/>\nother officials of the Authority.<br \/>\nThe prime minister was accompanied by his Advisor on<br \/>\nAviation Sardar Mehtab Ahmed Khan and Chairman National<br \/>\nHighway Authority Shahid Ashraf Tarar.<br \/>\nThe prime minister visited various sections of the<br \/>\nbuilding including passengers\u2019 terminal, different counters,<br \/>\ngang-ways and other sections.<br \/>\nAlmost 95 percent work on the project has been completed<br \/>\nand the facility is likely to start operations by July this<br \/>\nyear.<br \/>\nThe prime minister earlier broke ground for a project to<br \/>\nextend Metro bus facility from Peshawar Mor to new Airport to<br \/>\nfacilitate the passengers to and from the facility besides<br \/>\nproviding a modern and comfortable transport to the nearby<br \/>\npopulation.<br \/>\nThe airport would also be linked with the M-1 and M-2<br \/>\nmotorways as well as the GT Road.<br \/>\nThe facility features 15 modern docking stations besides<br \/>\nvast and modern parking system for the passengers.<br \/>\nThe traffic control system of international standard is<br \/>\nalso being installed at the airport that would also ease air<br \/>\ntraffic movement even during foggy weather.<br \/>\nThe authorities concerned are making arrangements to<br \/>\ncope with the water needs of the airport.<br \/>\nAPP\/Ihsan<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD, May 6 (APP): Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif Saturday directed the Civil Aviation Authority to ensure early completion of the New Islamabad International Airport without compromising quality of the work.
