As a corollary to the credential ceremony, the ambassador visited the mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk today to pay respect and tribute to the great statesman, reformer and founder of the Republic of Turkiye.<\/p>\n<p>As a part of the official ceremony, the ambassador accompanied by family and embassy officers laid wreath on Ataturk\u2019s tomb. After wreath laying, the ambassador recorded his remarks in the guest book.<\/p>\n<p>He wrote: \u2018It is a great honour to pay my respects to the great Mustafa Kemal Atat\u00fcrk, a visionary leader, an extraordinary statesman, a gifted military strategist, and above all the founder of modern T\u00fcrkiye.\u00a0\u00a0 His legacy of standing firm against all odds and oppression continues to inspire not only the Turks but all freedom-loving people across the globe.\u00a0 Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan, described Ataturk as the greatest man of the age.\u00a0\u00a0 While I pray that his soul rest in eternal peace, I also pray for continued prosperity of the brotherly people of Turkiye.\u00a0 Pakistan Turkiye Brotherhood Zindabad.
