General (R) Nasser Khan Janjua here on Thursday.<br \/>\nBesides matters pertaining to regional security and stability, Pak-Afghan and Pak-India relations also came under discussion during the meeting. Both sides also exchanged views on the precarious situation in Indian Held Kashmir and latest development there.<\/p>\n<p>NSA warmly welcomed the guests and said that Pakistan envisages cordial relations with all and particularly with the neighbouring countries. NSA said that Pakistan supports peace and stability in Afghanistan and stressed the importance of resolving all issues by political means. He also appreciated UK\u2019s role in bringing Pakistan and Afghanistan closer.<\/p>\n<p>NSA also highlighted the indigenous character of the freedom struggle in occupied Kashmir and reiterated that Pakistan does not believe in militancy.\u00a0 Pakistan is committed to support the right to self-determination of the Kashmiri people by moral, political and diplomatic means.<\/p>\n<p>NSA while explaining the fragility of region suggested that UK and other major powers should closely remain associated with the region to keep its strategic balance intact.<br \/>\nBoth sides agreed to enhance mutual cooperation to strengthen the existing bilateral relations.<\/p>\n<p>APP\/ Hamza\/mka\/ VNS Islamabad<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD, July 6 (APP): British High Commissioner to Pakistan Thomas Drew along with Alex, Deputy British High Commissioner in India called on National Security Adviser Lt.
