{"id":32004,"date":"2017-07-19T19:02:08","date_gmt":"2017-07-19T19:02:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/vid.app.com.pk\/vid\/?p=32004"},"modified":"2017-07-19T19:03:11","modified_gmt":"2017-07-19T19:03:11","slug":"32004","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vid.app.com.pk\/vid\/2017\/07\/32004\/","title":{"rendered":"PM Addressing to PML-N Workers Sialkot"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"width: 696px;\" class=\"wp-video\"><video class=\"wp-video-shortcode\" id=\"video-32004-1\" width=\"696\" height=\"557\" preload=\"metadata\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"video\/x-flv\" src=\"http:\/\/vid.app.com.pk\/vid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/19-07-2017-PM-Addressing-to-PML-N-Workers-Sialkot.flv?_=1\" \/><a href=\"http:\/\/vid.app.com.pk\/vid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/19-07-2017-PM-Addressing-to-PML-N-Workers-Sialkot.flv\">http:\/\/vid.app.com.pk\/vid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/19-07-2017-PM-Addressing-to-PML-N-Workers-Sialkot.flv<\/a><\/video><\/div>\n<p>SIALKOT, Jul 19 (APP): Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif Wednesday said that his political opponents after miserably failing to establish an iota of corruption or misuse of national exchequer against him, had started levelling false<br \/>\nallegations against his family and their private business.<br \/>\nAddressing a gathering of party workers at the residence<br \/>\nof minister for defence Khawaja Muhammad Asif, the prime<br \/>\nminister said if Nawaz Sharif had accumulated illegal wealth<br \/>\nprovide any proof from 80s to 90s and till this date.<br \/>\nInstead, his family had been asked to provide money<br \/>\ntrail from 1972 when he was a school going child, he said and<br \/>\ncalled for justification of deprivation of their factory under<br \/>\nthe nationalization drive by the Bhutto\u2019s regime.<br \/>\nThe prime minister said late Bhutto had seized his<br \/>\nfather\u2019s factory and handed over to his party workers.<br \/>\nFrom the last 44 years history, he asked his opponents<br \/>\nto provide any evidence of corruption, commission or kickbacks<br \/>\nagainst him or his family.<br \/>\nHe said his recent government had saved Rs 168 billion<br \/>\nalone in three power projects, but they were still accused of<br \/>\nplunder.<br \/>\nThe prime minister welcomed his accountability but<br \/>\nquestioned that first, they should be informed about the<br \/>\nallegations and nature of cases, adding only questions about their<br \/>\nfamily businesses had been raised.<br \/>\nHe also expressed the confidence that those people who<br \/>\nhad mercilessly plundered the national exchequer including<br \/>\nPervez Musharraf would also be held accountable.<br \/>\n\u201cIf I have no pains for the country, I had accepted<br \/>\nhefty offer from the US government at that time and did not<br \/>\nopt for the atomic blasts, making the country an atomic<br \/>\npower,\u201d he added.<br \/>\nIn apparent allusion to the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf<br \/>\nchairman, the prime minister said the people of the country<br \/>\nhad not voted him to rule them.<br \/>\n\u201cSo how it could come that you rule the country as a<br \/>\nprime minister. The people of Pakistan will not let you to do<br \/>\nsuch shabby politics,\u201d he maintained.<br \/>\nThe prime minister said on daily basis, his political<br \/>\nopponents were using foul language and levelling hollow<br \/>\nallegations.<br \/>\nBut they were not reciprocating with the same, declaring<br \/>\nthat in 2018, people of the land would respond to these antics<br \/>\nthrough their votes, he added.<br \/>\nThe prime minister said that he had been very concerned<br \/>\nfor the future of country\u2019s youth and the unemployment issue.<br \/>\nHe said his government worked day and night to brighten<br \/>\nup Pakistan with execution of unprecedented development energy<br \/>\nand infrastructure projects.<br \/>\n\u201cNow Pakistan is on the path of progress and prosperity<br \/>\nand will be soon amongst the fast developed countries of the<br \/>\nworld,\u201d he announced.<br \/>\nThe prime minister said these were the strenuous efforts<br \/>\non part of his government which had alarmed their political<br \/>\nfoes.<br \/>\nExpressing his dismay over the retrogressive politics of<br \/>\nhis opponents, he said conspiracies were being hatched from<br \/>\n2014 in the shape of sit-ins and still continued in different<br \/>\nforms.<br \/>\nIn an apparent reference to PTI leadership, the prime<br \/>\nminister said they tried to stall government\u2019s efforts to end<br \/>\ncrippling load shedding, eliminate terrorism, obstruct CPEC<br \/>\nand under construction motorways and highways projects.<br \/>\nHe referred to 56 billion $ investment under the China<br \/>\nPakistan Economic Corridor, terming it an unparallel<br \/>\nphenomenon in the country.<br \/>\nThe prime minister stressed upon his political opponents<br \/>\nto consider the national interests supreme.<br \/>\nHe said if this journey of progress and prosperity was<br \/>\nnot interrupted in 1990s, Pakistan would have joined the ranks<br \/>\nof top developed countries.<br \/>\nThe prime minister expressed his optimism that still,<br \/>\nthe country would attain that status soon. Pakistan had been<br \/>\nan atomic power and now set to become the major economic hub, he added.<\/p>\n<p>The prime minister on the occasion, commended services<br \/>\nof Khawaja Muhammad Asif and his family for the party and<br \/>\nmentioned his life long association with him since 1964.<br \/>\nHe also praised Khawaja\u2019s eloquence as an orator.<br \/>\nThe prime minister observed that the elected<br \/>\nrepresentatives of the party should visit their constituencies<br \/>\nregularly to let themselves know about the public issues and<br \/>\nto resolve them.<br \/>\nHe said Nawaz Sharif had no concerns in the<br \/>\npresence of such devoted leaders and workers.<br \/>\nA large number of party workers and local leaders very<br \/>\nloudly welcomed the prime minister and kept on chanting the<br \/>\nslogans.<br \/>\nSpeaking on the occasion, minister for defence Khawaja<br \/>\nMuhammad Asif said the people of Sialkot always supported PML-N<br \/>\ncandidates in the local bodies and general elections.<br \/>\nLambasting the political opponents of the PML-N, he<br \/>\nexpressed his wonder that now those people were throwing<br \/>\nstones at them whose track record had already been tainted<br \/>\nwith misdeeds.<br \/>\nUsing foul language in the public gatherings and<br \/>\nyearning for power through backdoor means would not succeed,<br \/>\nhe said while referring to the PTI leadership.<br \/>\nThe minister said no one could match the prime minister<br \/>\nin his composure and behaviour towards his political<br \/>\nopponents.<br \/>\nHe said their opponents were conspiring against the<br \/>\nprime minister\u2019s agenda of development and prosperity and<br \/>\nCPEC.<br \/>\nHe said the people of the country dreamt about such<br \/>\nprogress and prosperity and Nawaz sharif had made it a reality<br \/>\nas Rs36 billion were being spent on power plants and announced<br \/>\nthat in october and November, the country would have surplus<br \/>\npower.<br \/>\nHe mentioned the achievements of PML-N government in<br \/>\novercoming the energy deficit and tackling the issues of<br \/>\nterrorism.<br \/>\nHe said political opponents were fearing that if Nawaz<br \/>\nSharif reached at that point where he had already been placed,<br \/>\ntheir future in politics would end forever.<br \/>\nKhawaja Asif said the opponents could not oust Nawaz<br \/>\nSharif from politics as he was still there, but the people like<br \/>\nMusharraf had no place in the country.<br \/>\nReferring to recent hearings in Panama case in the<br \/>\nSupreme Court, he said an honourable judge had observed that<br \/>\nthere were no allegations against the prime minister regarding<br \/>\nembezzlement of public exchequer or corruption.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>SIALKOT, Jul 19 (APP): Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif Wednesday said that his political opponents after miserably failing to establish an iota of corruption or misuse of national exchequer against him, had started levelling false allegations against his family and their private business.
