But your enthusiasm<br \/>\nshows that I am alive in your hearts. I honour your commitment<br \/>\nand promise if you stand by me, I shall fulfil my commitment of<br \/>\nnational progress,\u201d he added.<br \/>\n\u201cI was serving the nation, situation of electricity was<br \/>\nimproving, roads and motorways were being constructed, Balochistan<br \/>\nhas been making progress, projects of CPEC have been undergoing and unemployed were getting jobs,\u201d he said listing his achievements.<br \/>\n\u201cIf progress was allowed to continue, unemployment would<br \/>\nhave been overcome in the upcoming two-three years,\u201d he added.<br \/>\nNawaz said that a joke had been made with the people of<br \/>\nPakistan for the last seventy years.<br \/>\n\u201cDoes it happen in any other civilised country,\u201d he said<br \/>\nand added \u201cthis system has to be changed and the respect of your<br \/>\nvote will have to be restored.\u201d<br \/>\n\u201cIt is my commitment with you that if your enthusiasm sustains, Pakistan will touch the heights of progress in a few years,\u201d he said.<br \/>\n\u201cWe will bring about a change and revolution. Will you<br \/>\nsupport Nawaz Sharif,\u201d he asked the sloganeering people, and<br \/>\ngot a big \u201cyes\u201d in response.<br \/>\n\u201cThis country does not belong to a few people, but to the<br \/>\nwhole nation and we all shall build it and make it strong and<br \/>\nrespectable. You have trusted me and I shall never betray your<br \/>\ntrust,\u201d he pledged.<br \/>\nSharif said that he enjoyed the approval of millions of<br \/>\npeople and premiership was not his goal.<br \/>\n\u201cI have expectations of the people of Muridke that they<br \/>\nwould support the truth.<br \/>\n\u201cI am leaving Muridke after making a decision that in a few<br \/>\ndays, it would be decided that this country is not a territory of<br \/>\nonly a few people and it is the country of more than 200 million<br \/>\npeople,\u201d he added.<br \/>\nHe expressed his joy on the welcome by the people of<br \/>\nMuridke and said he witnessed the same enthusiasm everywhere.<br \/>\n\u201cI hope your passion will remain the same and you will<br \/>\njoin me when I will call you,\u201d he said.<br \/>\nHe said the day was not far off when justice would be<br \/>\ndone, cruelties would come to an end and the country would leap<br \/>\nforward. \u201cLet us move together to reach the destination of<br \/>\nprogress, ensure sanctity of vote and secure a bright future for<br \/>\nthe nation.\u201d<br \/>\nNawaz Sharif said he could still see spark in the eyes<br \/>\nof people that would inspire him in restoration of sanctity of<br \/>\ntheir vote and secure a respectable place for the country<br \/>\namong comity of nations.<br \/>\nEarlier, on reaching Muridke, Nawaz Sharif was accorded<br \/>\na historic welcome as thousands of party workers and supporters<br \/>\npulled to streets to greet their leader and extending him their<br \/>\nsupport.
