{"id":35199,"date":"2017-09-09T16:07:24","date_gmt":"2017-09-09T16:07:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/vid.app.com.pk\/vid\/?p=35199"},"modified":"2021-03-22T15:50:37","modified_gmt":"2021-03-22T10:50:37","slug":"pakistan-kazakhstan-agree-to-execute-joint-energy-communication-defence-projects","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/vid.app.com.pk\/vid\/2017\/09\/pakistan-kazakhstan-agree-to-execute-joint-energy-communication-defence-projects\/","title":{"rendered":"Pakistan, Kazakhstan agree to execute joint energy, communication, defence projects"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"width: 640px;\" class=\"wp-video\"><video class=\"wp-video-shortcode\" id=\"video-35199-1\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" preload=\"metadata\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"video\/mp4\" src=\"http:\/\/vid.app.com.pk\/vid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/President-meets-with-Kazakh-President-09-09-17.mp4?_=1\" \/><a href=\"http:\/\/vid.app.com.pk\/vid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/President-meets-with-Kazakh-President-09-09-17.mp4\">http:\/\/vid.app.com.pk\/vid\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/President-meets-with-Kazakh-President-09-09-17.mp4<\/a><\/video><\/div>\n<p>ASTANA, (Kazakhstan), Sep 9 (APP): Pakistan and Kazakhstan<br \/>\nSaturday agreed to execute joint projects in the fields of<br \/>\ndefence, energy and communication to widen the bilateral<br \/>\ncooperation.<br \/>\nThe agreement was reached during a meeting between<br \/>\nPresident Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister of Kazakhstan<br \/>\nBakytzhan Sagintayev who arrived at President\u2019s residence for<br \/>\none-on-one meeting here.<br \/>\nThe president was here to attend the first summit of the<br \/>\nOrganization of Islamic Cooperation on Science and Technology<br \/>\nbeing hosted by Kazakh government from September 10-11.<br \/>\nThe president, who was accompanied by Ambassador of<br \/>\nPakistan in Kazakhstan Abdul Salik Khan, thanked Kazakh<br \/>\ngovernment for warm welcome and hospitality.<br \/>\nHe emphasised that the bilateral ties should be<br \/>\ndeveloped into the multiple partnership besides calling for<br \/>\nenhancing the bilateral trade and relaxation of visa policy.<br \/>\nThe president thanked Kazakh government for opting a<br \/>\njust stance on the issue of the membership of the nuclear<br \/>\nsuppliers group.<br \/>\nBesides underscoring the need for enhancing the defence<br \/>\nties, the president also offered that Pakistan could assist in<br \/>\nimparting skills to Kazakh people.<br \/>\nHe said that Pakistan desired enhancing bilateral engagements<br \/>\nin the fields of oil and gas and Pakistani firms could invest<br \/>\nin the said sectors of Kazakhstan.<br \/>\nHe also called for establishing the air and road links<br \/>\nbetween the two countries to enhance the trade volume.<\/p>\n<p>President Mamnoon said there was a need for quadrilateral framework for<br \/>\nregional economic stability comprising Pakistan, China, Kazakhtsan and Kyrgyzstan.<br \/>\nHe said this year, both the countries were celebrating 25 years of the<br \/>\nbilateral ties when they would explore new avenues for bilateral cooperation.<br \/>\nPresident Mamnoon also suggested the exchange of delegations between the<br \/>\ntwo countries in the fields of industry, trade, culture and education which was accepted by the Kazakh prime minister.<br \/>\nHe also proposed the enhanced bilateral cooperation in banking,<br \/>\ninfrastructure, construction, food processing, energy, science and technology.<br \/>\nIn his remarks, the Kazakh prime minister said after its inclusion in<br \/>\nShanghai Cooperation Organization as a member, Pakistan\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s ties in the region would improve.<br \/>\nHe also thanked Pakistan for supporting Kazakhstan for non-permanent<br \/>\nmembership of the UN Security Council.<br \/>\nHe apprised the president that Kazakhstan desired extending cooperation<br \/>\nto Pakistan in the fields of minerals, mining, transport and communications.<br \/>\nThe Kazakh premier said Kazakhstan also desired to be part of the China<br \/>\nPakistan Economic Corridor and also proposed interaction among the experts from both the sides.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>APP\/Zaheer<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ASTANA, (Kazakhstan), Sep 9 (APP): Pakistan and Kazakhstan Saturday agreed to execute joint projects in the fields of defence, energy and communication to widen the bilateral cooperation.
