The gathering vowed to work for supremacy of the Constitution, rule of law and strengthening of the democratic system.<br \/>\nThe monument, a brainchild of the Senate chairman, was inaugurated in March 2017. The mural constructed at the front lawns of the Parliament House was conceived and designed by artists from the Lok Virsa.
