Jayanath C. Perera, here on Friday paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi. This was the High Commissioner\u2019s first call on the Prime Minister.<br \/>\nThe Prime Minister while conveying his warm regards for the Leadership of Sri Lanka stated that Pakistan and Sri Lanka maintain friendly cooperation in all areas which needs to be further strengthened. He further said that the two sides should work together to revive the SAARC Forum as a vibrant platform for regional cooperation.The Prime Minister wished the High Commissioner a pleasant stay in Pakistan.<br \/>\nThe High Commissioner congratulated the Prime Minister on assumption of office. He also thanked the Government of Pakistan for facilitating Buddhists who travel to Pakistan for religious pilgrimage.
