ISLAMABAD, Sep 27 (APP): President Mamnoon Hussain says the government is taking various measures to promote art and cultural activities in the country.
Addressing at 5th meeting of Steering Committee of Federal Government Artists Welfare Fund in Islamabad on Tuesday, he said the artists are national assets and cultural ambassadors of the country.
He said they are rendering great services in art and culture and promoting soft image of the country.
The meeting was attended by Atta-ul-Haq Qasmi, Mustafa Qureshi, Muhammad Qawi Khan and Asghar Nadeem Syed.
