President intellectuals’ input in developing curricula

KARACHI, Sep 17 (APP): President Mamnon Hussain has urged the

intellectuals to help the government in designing curricula

according to the academic needs of students and national

aspirations.
The President while talking to a delegation of writers and

intellectuals said that the government is already working on

development a curriculum according to the ideology of Pakistan

and the spirit that should lead the nation towards the true

destiny of Pakistan.
The President said that this is obligatory for the thinkers to

lead the nation intellectually and give the coming generation

an education that build a nation strong, united and

hardworking.
He added that the academic institutions should improve their

co-curricular activities enabling students to contribute more

effectively to the society.
The delegation comprised of Dr. Pirzada Qasim Raza, Dr. Numan

ul Haq, Sahar Ansari, Dr. Rauf Pareekh, Dr. Mueen uddin Aqeel,

Dr. Fatma Hasan, Shahida Hasan, Haseena Mueen, Ghazi

Salahuddin, Imdad Hussaini, Yusuf Khushk, Sofia Khushk, Sahar

Imdad, Khwaja Riyaz Hyder, Khwaja Tariq and Nasar uddin.
