ISLAMABAD, Oct 18 (APP): President Mamnoon Hussain has said that China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) will pave way for economic development of not only Pakistan but the whole region.
Talking to a delegation of Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO), in Islamabad, he said CPEC will create immense employment opportunities and other avenues for economic progress.
The President expressed satisfaction the role of SUPARCO in completion of all projects under CPEC.
He appreciated the growing role of SUPARCO in the country’s economic progress and development.
He stressed the need for optimum utilization of SUPARCO’s expertise in agriculture, water resources, healthcare, education, disaster management and environment monitoring.
Mamnoon Hussain appreciated the space technology based support SUPARCO is providing to CPEC in major areas.
