ANKARA: Feb 23 (APP): Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif Thursday reached Chankaya Palace, Ankara. Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim welcomed the Prime Minister at the palace.
One on one meeting was held between Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildrim.
The two leaders discussed matters of bilateral interest. Both side also shared views of mutual cooperation between Pakistan and Turkey.
Issues pertaining to overall recent regional security situation also came under discussion.
Earlier, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif laid floral wreath at Anitkabir (Ataturk Mausoleum).
Upon his arrival at the palace, PM Nawaz Sharif was presented guard of honour.
Besides the meeting between the two premiers, simultaneous meetings also held between the Pakistani delegation comprising Minister for Commerce, Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources and the Special Assistant on Foreign Affairs Tariq Fatmi with their Turkish counterparts.
