ISLAMABAD, March 28 (APP): Minister of State for Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that politics and performance cannot be separated and people would cast their votes in the elections on the basis of service delivery.
She was talking to newsmen here on Tuesday. The Minister of State said PML-N performed superbly during the last three years on all fronts especially in economic development and addressing the challenge of terrorism.
She said the present government improved prestige and honour of the country in the comity of nations which led to launching of historic initiative of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.
Marriyum Aurangzeb said Punjab, under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, has developed to a great extent and other provinces should emulate this model.
Referring to Prime Minister’s visit to Hyderabad yesterday, she said the Prime Minister is working for welfare of people of entire Pakistan. She said the Prime Minister wants that people of Sindh should also have similar opportunities as are available to people of other provinces. She said that the Prime Minister announced a number of projects to ameliorate the lot of people of Sindh and he would continue to do so in Sindh and other provinces as well.
It was pointed out that through Drip Irrigation method and other new modes of irrigation, proper utilisation of water can be made possible with equally beneficial results for agriculture produce.
