ISLAMABAD, April 02 (APP): Tramri FC and Ghauri FC won their first match in league stage of first Mayor Football tournament start here today, 24 league matches will be played till 10th April.
In first match Tramri FC beat Baltistan FC with 2-1, Baryal and Franklin of Tramri FC scored goals in seventh and tenth minute of first half, which leads the psychological victory over Baltistan FC, Kamal of Balistan FC came as hope when he scored first goal in 26th minute for his team but not to vial victory.
In second match Elite FC was totally knocked-out by Ghauri FC, lost their match by 5-0. Raja Adil, Shehzad, Muzamil Naz scored one goal each, whereas, Amanullah contributed two goals for his team.
Match commissioner were Muhammad Ilyas, referees were Dilawar Hussain, Shamoon Masih and Shafqat Munir.
Pre-quarter finals and quarter finals will be played from April 12 to 18. Semi finals will be played on April 19 and 20 while the third position match and final will be played on April 21 and 22, respectively.
The winning team will be awarded a cash prize of Rs 1,00,000, runner-up will get Rs 50,000 while the third position team will bag Rs 25,000.
