(China) May 16 (APP): Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif met party secretary Che Jun in Hangzhou.
The two leaders discussed matters of mutual interest and bilateral relations between Pakistan and China.
Speaking on the occasion Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif said that Pakistan and China are brothers who enjoy a relationship which is higher than the highest mountains in the world. The PM said that Pakistan and China are all weather friends.
The Prime Minister said that China Pakistan Economic Corridor is the flagship project of belt and road initiative. The two countries are standing together for the prosperity and well being of their people.
Secretary of the Committee of the CPC of Zhejiang welcomed Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and said that Pakistan and China have the relations based on history and culture. He said that both the nations have deep rooted connections which are transformed into people to people relationship.
Che Jun briefed the Prime Minister about Zhejiang province. He told the PM that the province is the economic hub and historically is the part of silk route. Che Jun said that Pakistan and the Chinese province of Zhejiang have strong business ties. Last year the Zhejiang did 3.5 billion dollars business.
He said that the cooperation between the two countries in the economic field must be enhanced.
