May 5 (APP) :Swedish Ambassador Ingrid Johnson called on Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif in Lahore on Friday.
They discussed ways to enhance cooperation in energy production through waste and road safety programs.
The Chief Minister said there are huge opportunities to generate electricity from waste in Punjab, and Swedish investors can invest in the sector.
He said Punjab government has launched Metro Bus Service in three largest cities of the province, and the service is being extended to other cities.
The Swedish Ambassador said his government is ready to enhance cooperation with Pakistan in various sectors.APP/ia
