PM expresses resolve to uplift weak segment of society

PESHAWAR, Dec 14 (APP): Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday expressed commitment to strengthen and uplift weak segment of the society.

He was addressing a ceremony in connection with 100-day performance of Khyber Pakhtukhwa government in Peshawar.

The Prime Minister said the approach of the PTI government is different from the previous ones, whose policies widened gap between the rich and the poor.

He said the decision of setting up shelter homes for the shelter less people in various cities indicates the PTI’s mindset of helping the poor.

The Prime Minister said efforts are being made to introduce a uniform curriculum across the country.

Underlining the importance of investment for economic development, the Prime Minister said the government will ensure ease of doing business.

He said a large number of local and foreign investors want to invest in Pakistan, and several major international companies, including the world largest oil and gas exploration company ExxonMobil have expressed keenness for it. He also advised the KP government to remove hurdles in investment.
