NEW JERSEY(USA) Dec. 10 (APP): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf [PTI] Senator Faisal Javed Khan is currently visiting USA in connection with the fund raising campaign for construction of dams in Pakistan.
He concluded his visit on a public meeting New Jersey on Monday, where a large number of Pakistani Americans attended the gathering.
In his address to Pakistanis, Faisal Javed urged them to contribute generously for the construction of dams in motherland.
He said the donations given today would help their future generations as water crisis is worsening in Pakistan with every passing day. Quoting official figures he regretted that 90 percent of water is wasted in Pakistan, which would create more problems in days to come. He stressed the need that this situation needs to be addressed as soon as possible.
The senator regretted that there are only two big dams in Pakistan and the Pakistan’s water storage capacity is just for one month. He stressed the need that more mega water reservoirs are urgently needed to overcome water shortages in the motherland.
Senator Faisal also met Pakistani Americans and addressed several gatherings in different towns of the USA. The major American cities he visited include Seattle, Arizona, Washington DC, Virginia, and Chicago.
