ISLAMABAD, May 28 (APP): The exchange rate of dollar soared by 48 paisa in interbank and was traded at Rs 150.22 as compared to the last closing at Rs 149.74, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) reported on Tuesday.
The SBP further reported that in interbank the price of Euro increased by 55 paisa after which it was traded at Rs 168.14 against Rs 167.59 of last day.
However, the price of Japanese yen gain 01 paisa after which it was traded at Rs 1.37 against Rs 1.36, whereas the increase of 08 paisa was witnessed in exchange rate of British Pound which was traded at Rs 190.34 as compared to last closing at Rs 190.26.
Moreover, the exchange rates of UAE Dirham jumped by 13 paisa whereas Saudi Riyal gain 12 paisa after which they were traded at Rs 40.90 and Rs 40.05 against Rs 40.77 and Rs 39.93 respectively.
