ISLAMABAD, May 28 (APP): As the last Ashra of the month of blessings had started and Eid’s festivities geared up in the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad; the markets are crammed with traditional mehndi and bangles stalls to attract women, both young and old.
Eastern women have a special attraction for bangles and mehndi and Eid-ul-Fitr is a occasion when they, irrespective of their age, buy bangles and get mehndi designs imprinted on their hands that add colors in the festivity of Eid.
Most of the girls prefer to apply Henna on chand raat to get more bright color for eid as the celebration remains imperfect without colorful and matching bangles.
With the never-ending popularity of such trends, these traditions are the beauty of Pakistani culture that adds more to the celebration of Eid ul Fitar.
