PSX loss 325 point to close at 34,570 points

ISLAMABAD, July 04 (APP): The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Thursday witnessed bearish trend as KSE 100 index decreased by 325.93points (0.93 percent) to close at 34,570.62 points.

A total of 111,859,060 shares were traded, whereas the value of shares traded during the day stood at Rs 4.381 billion.

Out of 318 companies, share prices of 61 companies recorded increase while 241 companies registered decrease whereas 16 companies remained stable in today’s trading.

The three top traded companies were K-Electric Ltd with a volume of 8,979,500 and price per share of Rs 4.29, TRG Pakistan Ltd with a volume of 8,243,000 and price per share of Rs 17.16 and Maple Leaf with a volume of 7,597,000 and price per share of Rs 24.37.

The top advancer was Unilever Foods with the increase of Rs 275 per share, closing at Rs 5775 while Sapphire Fiber was runner up with the increase of Rs 44.75 per share, closing at Rs 950.

The top decliners were Bata (Pak) with the decrease of Rs 58.98 per share, closing at Rs 1341.02 and Abbott Laboratory with the decrease of Rs 22.17 per share closing at Rs 446.83.
