ISLAMABAD, Sep 17 (APP): The exchange rate of dollar gained 09 paisa in interbank and was traded at Rs 156.32 as compared with the last closing at Rs 156.23, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) reported on Tuesday.
The SBP further reported that in interbank the price of Euro decreased by 72 paisa and was traded at Rs 172.15 as compared with last closing at Rs 172.87.
However, the exchange rate of Japanese yen shed 01 paisa and was traded at Rs 1.44 against Rs 1.45, whereas the decrease of 28 paisa was witnessed in exchange rate of British Pound which was traded at Rs 194.01 as compared with last closing at Rs 194.29.
Moreover, the exchange rate of UAE Dirham gained 03 paisa whereas Saudi soared by 02 paisa each after which they were traded at Rs 42.56 and Rs 41.67 against Rs 42.53 and Rs 41.65 respectively.
