ISLAMABAD, Sep 04 (APP): The exchange rate of dollar shed by 39 paisa in interbank and was traded at Rs 156.23 as compared with the last closing at Rs 156.62, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) reported on Wednesday.
The SBP further reported that in interbank the price of Euro increased by 58 paisa and was traded at Rs 172 as compared with last closing at Rs 171.42.
The exchange rate of Japanese yen remained constant at Rs 1.47, whereas the increase of Rs 2.09 was witnessed in exchange rate of British Pound which was traded at Rs 189.95 as compared with last closing at Rs 187.86.
Exchange rate of UAE Dirham and Saudi dipped by 11 paisa each after which they were traded at Rs 42.53 and Rs 41.65 against Rs 42.64 and Rs 41.76 respectively.
