WELLINGTON, Nov 02 (APP): Pakistani High Commissioner to New Zealand Dr Abdul Malik on Sunday said that Government of Pakistan is taking serious steps to raise the voices of oppressed Kashmiri people at every international forum. He expressed his views while delivering lecture about Kashmir issue at main mosque of Wellington.
He said that Pakistan would continue waging struggle against the Indian oppression and would highlight Indian atrocities against innocent and helpless Kashmiri people at every international forum.
On this occasion, a documentary highlighting Indian human rights violations was also shown. People from various walks of life attended the lecture and asked questions regarding government’s policy towards situation of Kashmir.
In the end, Maulana Naziam ul Haq Thanvi expressed his views and prayed for down-trodden and persecuted people of Indian occupied Kashmir.
