PSX gains 824 points to close at 36,803 points

ISLAMABAD, Nov 11 (APP): Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) Monday noted bullish trend as KSE 100 index closed at 36,803.10 points as compared to 35,978.16 points on the last working day with the positive change of 824.94 points (2.29 %).

A total of 282,944,821 shares were traded compared to the trade of 210,573,470 shares during the previous day, whereas the value of shares traded during the day stood at Rs 9.094 billion compared to Rs 6.552 billion during last trading day.

Total 380 companies’ transacted shares in the Stock Market today, out of which 304 recorded gain and 59 sustained losses whereas the share price of 17 companies remained unchanged.

The three top traded companies were Bank of Punjab with a volume of 35,924,000 shares and price per share of Rs 10.41, World Call Telecom with a volume of 14,480,500 and price per share of Rs 1.71 and Maple Leaf XD XR with a volume of 11,766,000 and price per share of Rs 19.55.

Colgate Palm recorded the maximum increase of Rs 91.40 per share, closing at Rs 1980 while Bata (Pak) was runner up with the increase of Rs 56.69 per share, closing at Rs 1785.38.

Philip Morris Pakistan recorded maximum decrease of Rs 116.44 per share, closing at Rs 2212.73 whereas Pak Tobacco XD decreases Rs 99.99 per share closing at Rs 2400.01.
