PSX gains 827 points to close at 38,411 points

ISLAMABAD, Nov 18 (APP): Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) Monday noted bullish trend as KSE 100 index closed at 38,411.56 points as compared to 37,583.89 points on the last working day with the positive change of 827.67 points (2.20 %).

A total of 466,079,440 shares were traded compared to the trade of 369,038,836 shares during the previous day, whereas the value of shares traded during the day stood at Rs 15.505 billion compared to Rs 9.587 billion during last trading day.

Total 412 companies’ transacted shares in the Stock Market today, out of which 295 recorded gain and 98 sustained losses whereas the share price of 19 companies remained unchanged.

The three top traded companies were Bank of Punjab with a volume of 37,601,000 shares and price per share of Rs 11.26, K-Electric Ltd with a volume of 28,386,500 and price per share of Rs 4.31 and Fauji Cement with a volume of 18,761,500 and price per share of Rs 16.83.

Unilever Foods XD recorded the maximum increase of Rs 283 per share, closing at Rs 7000 while Pak Tobacco was runner up with the increase of Rs 99 per share, closing at Rs 2498.50.

Rafhan Maize XD recorded maximum decrease of Rs 360 per share, closing at Rs 6940 whereas Nestle Pakistan XD decreases Rs 300 per share closing at Rs 6276.25.
