NIAMEY, Feb24 (APP): Ambassador of Islamic Republic of Pakistan Niger H.E Ahmed Ali Sirohey called on Minister of Health here on Wednesday.
H.E was received in the cabinet of the Minister during which mutual agreements especially on Health Sector were discussed. This sector needs immediate assistance in supplying materials and necessary equipment for surgical operations.
H.E also reminded the Minister Pakistani team of ophthalmology coming to Niger for establishing camps for treatment of people affected by cataract and other eyes diseases in the poorest regions of Niger.
Agreements for establishing Pakistani clinic of Health were also discussed and Minister of Health assured H.E to issue the proposal so that immediate measures be taken to ensure the establishment of the building.
The Minister of Health signed the agreement and thanked The Embassy of Pakistan in Niger for its nonstop dedication in helping Niger mostly in this Covid 19 pandemic era hitting thousands of families in the poorest regions of the country.
