PNCA organizes cultural show in honour of  foreign dignitaries of PAECO

ISLAMABAD, Jun 01 (APP):Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) on Tuesday organized a cultural show in honour of the foreign dignitaries and delegates of the Second General Conference of the Parliamentary Assembly of Economic Cooperation Organization (PAECO).

The event was attended by foreign dignitaries from Iran, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, and Turkey.  Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser, Deputy Speaker National Assembly Qasim Khan Suri, Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Mian Farrukh Habib, Federal Minister for Defence Pervaiz Khattak, Parliamentary Secretary Kanwal Shuazaib.

Popular musicians and folk performers mesmerized the audience with their enthralling performance in a cultural show.

The cultural show with various unique performances fascinated the foreign guests, who responded with applause and appreciation.

Cultural dances of different parts of Pakistan including Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab in colorful dresses were also presented by the artists of PNCA, which were highly eulogized by the guests from various countries.

Renowned legendary musician pride of performance Ustad Saen Raes Ahmad Khan skillfully fused beats from violin and enthralled the honourable guests and audience.

Famous Rubab player Gulab Afridi from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa enthralled the spectators with his rabab performance. While Imran Shaukat mesmerized the participants with Qawali’s performance.

Salman Ahmed presented an instrumental performance on the flute. The artists also presented the instrumental song of the famous Turkish serial Ertugul Ghazi.

The participants highly appreciated the efforts of PNCA in promoting and projecting the folk culture of the country. They said Pakistan had a rich cultural heritage, which was needed to be further promoted for improving the soft image of the country.
