PSX sheds 469 point to closes at 35,505 points

ISLAMABAD, June 03(APP): The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Monday witnessed bearish trend as KSE 100 index plunged by 469.50 points (1.31 percent) to close at 35,505.29 points.

A total of 124,639,640 shares were traded, whereas the value of shares traded during the day stood at Rs 4.702 billion.

Out of 301 companies, share prices of 103 companies recorded increase while 179 companies registered decrease whereas 19 companies remained stable in today’s trading.

However, the three top traded companies were Bank of Punjab XD with a volume of 25,481,500 and price per share of Rs 10.64, WorldCall Telecom with a volume of 20,613,000 and price per share of Rs .87 and Maple Leaf with a volume of 8,099,500 and price per share of Rs 23.63.

Whereas the top advancer was Bata (Pak) with the increase of Rs 68.18 per share, closing at Rs 1432.18 while Abbott Laboratories was runner up with the increase of Rs 14.15 per share, closing at Rs 487.14.

Moreover, the top decliners were Mari Petroleum with the decrease of Rs 40.73 per share, closing at Rs 1102.97 and Pak Oilfields with the decrease of Rs 22.24 per share closing at Rs 422.61.
