ISLAMABAD, Oct 01 (APP): Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid says police have rendered great sacrifices to establish peace in the country.
Addressing a training workshop for media officers of Punjab Police in Islamabad on Saturday, he said people remained safe from many terrorist attacks as a result of the timely preventive steps of the police.
The Minister paid tribute to the martyred officers and jawans of the police, and said services of every department should be recognized accordingly.
He advised the media officers of police to work diligently for improving the image of the police department.
