Combating coronavirus: Serving Hands Association organize screening camp

KARACHI, April 13 (APP): A three day screening camp for cops and boy scouts performing duties in the mega polis to control spread of coronavirus opened here on Monday.

The initiative jointly undertaken by Serving Hands Association (NGO comprising health care providers), Karachi Police- South, Citizens-Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) and Karachi Boy Scouts Association was largely hailed by concerned stakeholders.

Blood tests and physical examination of around 150 policemen, including traffic cops, and 50 boys scout were conducted on first day of the camp.

President Serving Hands Organization Dr. Sikander Ali Shaikh, while talking to APP thanked Essa Laboratories for their support in holding the camp.

“Those suspected to be at any risk will be referred for necessary investigation to any of the designated facilities,” said Dr Shaikh.
