ISLAMABAD, May 10 (APP): State Minister for Information, Broadcasting and National Heritage Marriyum Aurangzeb has urged the media and litrary people to promote positive image of the country through pen.
Addressing a book launching ceremony here Wednesday, she said that youth is intolerant because they are away from books. She urged for promotion of book culture to bring pure inherited narrative of peace culture of Pakistani society.
She said that Pakistan has eradicated the menace of terrorism an media has struggled to nourish democracy in the country. All institutions in Pakistan are determined to strengthen democracy in Pakistan, she expressed.
The state Minister also termed positive gesture of the military and the state regarding Dawn Leaks decision as historic and said that only democracy will be nourished in Pakistan. Institutions have proved maturity today and media should also embrace that.
She urged to digitalize the book. It will enhance access of youth towards understanding of fundamentals of progress. The People outside country who want to know reality of the country will also know about Pakistan, she added.
