ISLAMABAD, June 12(APP): The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Wednesday witnessed bullish trend as KSE 100 index jumped by 278.08 points (0.80 percent) to close at 34,937.93points.
A total of 150,978,350 shares were traded, whereas the value of shares traded during the day stood at Rs 4.933 billion.
Out of 327 companies, share prices of 216 companies recorded increase while 84 companies registered decrease whereas 27 companies remained stable in today’s trading.
The three top traded companies were Bank of Punjab XD with a volume of 18,499,000 and price per share of Rs 9.79, Maple Leaf with a volume of 9,961,500 and price per share of Rs 23.02 and K-Electric Ltd with a volume of 7,488,000 and price per share of Rs 4.31.
The top advancer was Pak Suzuki XD with the increase of Rs 13.74 per share, closing at Rs 288.63 while Sitara Chemical was runner up with the increase of Rs 11.18 per share, closing at Rs 287.34.
The top decliners were Sanofi-Aventis with the decrease of Rs 24.99 per share, closing at Rs 645.01 and Jubile Life Insurance with the decrease of Rs 15.30 per share closing at Rs 290.70.
