High Commissioner-designate of Pakistan to India calls on President

ISLAMABAD, May 31 (APP): President Mamnoon Hussain has urged International community and human rights organizations to take notice of gross human rights violations in Occupied Kashmir by Indian forces.

He was talking to High Commissioner-designate of Pakistan to India Sohail Mahmood, who called on him in Islamabad on Wednesday.

Emphasizing the need for apprising diplomatic fraternity about Indian atrocities in the held valley, the President said, no doubt, the world community is getting informed of deteriorating situation in occupied Kashmir but there is still need for highlighting this grim issue.

He hoped that issue of Kashmir and Palestine will soon be resolved as per aspirations of people of area due to prospects of positive changes in the world’s politics.

The President said Pakistan is desirous of having cordial relations on equal basis with all its neighboring countries including India.

He said that Pakistan want resolution of all outstanding issues including Kashmir with India through dialogue.

He said that Indian spy was involved in promoting terrorism on Pakistan’s soil which is condemnable.

On the occasion, the President directed the High Commissioner-designate of Pakistan to India to apprise the international community about reservations and stance of Pakistan.

He further directed Sohail Mahmood to play his due role in highlighting Pakistan’s stance over water issue.
