ISLAMABAD, June 2 (APP): Takashi Kurai, Ambassador of Japan to Pakistan called on National Security Adviser Lt Gen (R) Nasser Janjua here Friday morning.
Matters pertaining to improvement of bilateral relations and regional security situations came under discussion.
NSA said that Pakistan regards Japan as a close friend and a reliable economic partner.
The two sides expressed support for constructive efforts for peace and reconciliation in Afghanistan. NSA also apprised the Ambassador about Pakistan’s efforts to forge cooperative relations with all its neighbours on the basis of mutual respect and peaceful coexistence.
He also reiterated that Pakistan has always supported all peace endeavour’s towards India and Afghanistan.
