ISLAMABAD, Aug 2 (APP): Pakistani female mountaineer Uzma Yousaf makes history to scale 7,027-meter high Spantik peak in the Spantik-Sosbun Mountains sub-range of Karakoram in Nagar Valley of Gilgit-Baltistan..
Uzma summits Spantik peak on Wednesday at 09:16 a.m. She became the first female mountaineer to scale 7000m peak in Pakistan.
Known as the Golden Peak, the mountain has gained significant popularity amongst climber recently.
It is worth mentioning here that all expenses of expedition are solely afforded by her.
Her high altitude team includes Wajid Ullah Nagri, Asghar Hussain and Yaseen from Tisar village.
