ISLAMABAD, Sep 20 (APP): President Mamnoon Hussain has called for greater focus on attracting Swiss investment to Pakistan and an increase in bilateral trade.
He was talking to Pakistan’s Ambassador-designate to Switzerland Ahmad Naseem Warraich in Islamabad on Wednesday.
The President said Swiss investment should be encouraged in Pakistan’s agriculture sector besides forging cooperation between Red Crescent of Pakistan and Swiss Red Cross.
He emphasized the need for greater exchanges in the fields of commerce and education and exploring scholarship opportunities for Pakistani students in Switzerland.
Mamnoon Hussain asked the Ambassador to disseminate effectively information about Pakistan’s role, contribution and sacrifices in the war against terror./VNS, Islamabad
