Quaid-i-Azam Interprovincial Games started today

ISLAMABAD, Dec 23 (APP): Quaid-i-Azam Interprovincial Games-2017 kicked-off with a colorful opening ceremony here at Pakistan Sports Complex, Country’s renowned singers and artists performed in the ceremony, depicting diversity of the country’s beautiful culture of the country.
Leader of the House in Senate Raja Zafar ul Haq, Minister for Interprovincial Coordination Riaz Hussain Pirzada and officials of PSB were present to witness the colorful ceremony.
The five-day event would conclude on December 29, here at the Pakistan Sports Complex.
Athletes from far-off areas of the country have arrived, over 3,700 players, from all federating units including Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, Balochistan, Islamabad, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and FATA would chip in 19 different sports disciplines to win 578 medals.

Sindh contingent consisting of 395 players and officials, Punjab 395, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 349, Gilgit-Baltistan 393, FATA 330 and AJK 268 while Balochistan Contingent comprising 395 and Islamabad consisting of 395 players and Officials will in the contests.

Stick security measures had been taken for the safety of players, while they would be provided food and accommodation of high standard.
