ISLAMABAD, Feb 27 (APP):President Mamnoon Hussain Tuesday administered the oath of office to Ms. Kashmala Tariq as Federal Ombudsperson for protection against harassment of women at the workplace in a ceremony held here at the Awian-e-Sadr.
Later, Ms. Kashmala Tariq also called on President Mamnoon Hussain.
The President congratulated her on assuming the office as Federal Ombudsperson and hoped she would discharge her responsibilities in an efficient manner.
Ms. Kashmala Tariq thanked the President for her appointment, a press release said.
Senior Government officials and eminent citizens from different walks of life also attended the oath-taking ceremony.
