Saudi energy minister along with delegation visit Gawadar

Gawadar, Jan 12 (APP): A Saudi delegation led by Saudi Minister for Energy, Industry and Minerals Khalid Abdul Aziz D. Al Falih Saturday arrived in Gwadar to visit the land allocated for a proposed Saudi oil refinery.

Upon his arrival in Gwadar, Minister for Petroleum Ghulam Sarwar Khan welcomed the delegation.

Talking to the visiting delegation Ghulam Sarwar Khan said Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have distinctive relationship. He said the state-of-the-art oil refinery is the biggest investment project of Saudi Arabia in Pakistan.He added that during the upcoming visit of Saudi crown prince to Pakistan next month a Memorandum of Understanding about the oil refinery will also be signed.

It is worth mentioning here that since PM Imran Khan has visited Saudi Arabia, zeal of mutual cooperation in bilateral ties is being observed.

The visiting energy minister while exchanging his views said that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are two pillars of peace in the world. He was of the view that peace in the region remained basis of conducive business atmosphere.

Saudi minister further said that Saudi Arabia considers importance of the Gawadar particularly in backdrop of CPEC. He said Saudi Arabia is committed in investing in both short term and long term projects.
