Rs 1000 million allocated for Kartarpur corridor in PSDP 2019-20

ISLAMABAD, June 11 (APP): In sight of Religious Harmony and spreading goodwill gesture the government has allocated Rs 1000 million for Land Acquisition and Development of Infrastructure of Kartarpur Corridor under Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) for next fiscal year 2019-20.

The government has allocated the amount to Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith harmony for PSDP the fiscal year 2019-20.

The Pakistani government has announced to open the 4.7 kilometer-long visa-free Kartarpur Corridor on the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak.

The Kartarpur is a corridor located between the neighboring nations India and Pakistan, connecting the Sikh shrines of Dera Baba Nanak Sahib (located in Punjab, India) and Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur (in Punjab, Pakistan).
