ISLAMABAD, Aug 29 (APP): The exchange rate of dollar dropped by 06 paisa in interbank and was traded at Rs 157.22 as compared with the last closing at Rs 157.28, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) reported on Thursday.
However according to Forex Association of Pakistan, the buying and selling rates of dollar in open market were recorded at Rs 157 and Rs 157.50.
The SBP further reported that in interbank the price of Euro decreased by 35 paisa and was traded at Rs 174.07 as compared with last closing at Rs 174.42.
The exchange rate of Japanese yen dipped by 01 paisa and was trade at Rs 1.47 against Rs 1.48, whereas the decrease of 45 paisa was witnessed in exchange rate of British Pound which was traded at Rs 191.57 as compared with last closing at Rs 192.02.
Exchange rate of UAE Dirham shed 02 paisa whereas Saudi Rayal dropped 01 paisa after which they were traded at Rs 42.80 and Rs 41.92 against Rs 42.82 and Rs 41.93 respectively.
