ISLAMABAD, Nov 23 (APP) Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr.Firdous Ashiq Awan has said the government will soon launch a crackdown against hoarders and profiteers in order to check the price hike.
Talking to the media persons in Sialkot on Saturday she said, it is the determination of the Prime Minister to provide relief to the masses. She said the governance system of provincial governments will be improved to achieve the desired objective.
Firdous Ashiq Awan said the role of middle man is also being eliminated to check the price hike. She also expressed the government’s commitment to extend facilities to the rural population that are available to those in the urban centres.
The Special Assistant said the SME sector will also be revived to promote industrial activity in the country as per the vision of the prime minister. She further said that the government is also moving towards e governance to improve the system.
